OK thank you both. However, the hole is like 1/6" in diameter (standard hole which is how the mast came to me new), so it looks like a pop rivet is going to be pretty big and need a big tool. Are you saying the type of rivet you simply hit with a hammer (hammer rivet?). If I use that I'm afraid...
